THE PARKETTE

The Parkette consists of a tented and fenced area exclusively reserved for S&I delegates, who can enjoy the outdoor space filled with café tables and chairs. The Parkette is located in the heart of Yorkville in close proximity to a number of Toronto’s finest restaurants and shops and to Festival theatres (Cumberland and the Varsity). The parkette is situated on Cumberland Ave. between Bellair and University. The Parkette will be available from September 6 to the 15, 2006 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

THE SPACE

The parkette is designed to be an unofficial meeting/resting spot for sales and industry Delegates between screenings. Perfectly located between the Cumberland and Varsity theatres (only a 3 minute walk from each), delegates can stop off for a 15 minute coffee break, have their rest outside enjoying Toronto’s beautiful weather, or conducting casual meetings with one another.

DOC CORNER
The parkette will also host the Toronto International Film Festival’s very first DOC CORNER! Located within the parkette, Doc Corner welcomes all documentary Industry delegates, sales agents, buyers, producer, directors and press. The Doc Corner is perfect for networking and holding casual meetings throughout the day.
